A French AFNOR aerospace specification for Nickel Aluminium Bronze CuAl10Ni5Fe3. The alloy is one of the most popular specifications used by world wide aircraft manufacturers for landing gear bushings and bearings. It has extremely good wear resistance and anti galling properties. The alloy can be manufactured in several specifications including BS 2B 23, DTD 197A, BS2874 CA104, DIN 17665 and BS EN 12165 CW307G.

With very little limitation on size, BS 2B 23 is available as standard in rod, bar, blocks, rings, tubes and discs up to a piece weight of 4,500kg/9,900lbs.

Copper Alloys is also regularly making customised shaped forgings and can increase piece weight up to 20,000kg/44,000lbs.

Copper Alloys Ltd also offers finished machined components in all alloys, complete project management and tailored mechanical properties beyond those of the specification to meet special requirements.
