Your first six months at Copper Alloys

During your first six months at Copper Alloys, you’ll focus on getting comfortable with our processes, the industries we work across and how we develop cutting edge metal alloys.

First month

While getting to grips with your new role, you’ll spend time working with experienced colleagues who will act as your mentors throughout your training.

You will take part in technical sessions and hands-on activities designed to give you a well-rounded introduction to Copper Alloys.

Months two – four

During these months, you will start to gain more responsibility in your role and will be exposed to our operations, customers and suppliers.

An eagerness and a hunger to achieve are fundamental for these months as we consider them crucial building blocks in your Copper Alloys career.

Months five and six

All your hard work will be starting to pay off as your knowledge of material creation, our processes and the clients we work with will start to become second nature to you.

During this time, you will be supported by the wider team and your mentors to take complete responsibility for your role.

You will begin to work on complex industrial projects which will give you the opportunity to put your knowledge and skills into practice.

Copper Alloys provides metal alloys to all types of industry sectors. Our specialism is in providing high-performance alloys for extreme environments, from sub-sea components to aerospace parts.

Alloys we create are used in a variety of sub-sea applications, including defence submarines. You will be working alongside a team with vast experience of engineering components for the defence sector, meaning you’ll learn from renowned engineers.

 

 

Aerospace

 

Our aerospace materials are developed to be fully customisable, making them withstand the test of time and the strains of the aerospace industry.
