Robust export control and compliance

Advanced material technology underpins much of the defence capability around the world.

Copper Alloys’ focus on producing some of the most complex and progressive metals, components and equipment, has resulted in significant global demand.

Export controls enforced by the UK Government affect a number of the products produced by Copper Alloys, it is therefore of paramount importance that we have robust and effective export control compliance procedures in place.

The purpose of these controls is to limit the supply of technology or strategic goods to countries prescribed, principally for reasons of proliferation, security or terrorism. It is in the interest of us all that the controls are effective in order to make the world a safer place.

The graph below outlines the Open General Export Licence (OGEL) process. Copper Alloys is committed to ensuring compliance with this legislation.
