An American continuous cast leaded gun metal CuSn6Zn4Pb2 also known as “Navy M”. This is a general purpose bearing alloy with added lead for machinability. It is suitable for low loaded components with adequate lubrication.The alloy can also be manufactured to SAE 622, SAE J461/J461, QQ-C-390 D4, QQ-B-1005 Comp 1, Mil-B-11553 Comp 1, Mil-B-16541 and JIS H5121 CAC407C Class 7.
