A French AFNOR aerospace specification for high strength manganese bronze CuZn19Al6. The alloy produced in the wrought form is one of the strongest manganese bronzes on the market. It has good wear resistance and high compressive strength. As well as aerospace applications it is used for bridge wear plates and slide bearings. The alloy also meets the requirements of AIR 9070 UZ19A6 , NCT 10-631-11 MD edition2 and DIN 1709.
