Key Features

A copper zinc alloy with a small addition of tin to aid corrosion resistance. The alloy is a single alpha phase and has good ductility.

This Naval Brass was originally used in marine applications and has good corrosion resistance in moderately polluted river water and clean sea water. The alloy is widely used in heat exchange equipment with moderate operating conditions.

Typical Uses

Chemical and Mechanical: The alloy is used for condenser tubes, tubeplates and other heat exchange components, principally for oil refineries and power stations
