Equivalent Specifications

ASTM B 98 C65100
ASME SB 98 C65100
CW115C

Key Features

A high copper alloy, single phase silicon bronze. The alloy can be cold worked to increase the strength and can be supplied in a range of tempers. The addition of silicon not only improves the strength but also increase the corrosion resistance.

Typical Uses

Cupro nickel is used extensively in sea water applications, where its excellent corrosion resistance and anti-fouling properties make it a popular alloy for off-shore oil platforms, fish farms and general marine cladding where sea growths are a problem.
