A 10% tin bronze without the addition of phosphorus and lead which conforms to BS 1400 CT1 CuSn10 and BS EN 1982:2008 GC CC480K CuSn10-C. It can be used in corrosive environments such as boiler feed water and has moderate resistance to non- oxidising mineral acids and organic acids and being lead free is often used in food products manufacturing equipment.

Key Features

Will tolerate moderate load and speeds. Resistant to corrosion and stress corrosion cracking particularly in acid conditions. A hardened steel mating surface is required.
