An Australian continuous cast leaded tin bronze CuSn10PB9. The high lead content of this class of bronze, combined with the high tin content, increases plasticity, maximises strength and aids embeddability. The tribology of this alloy also helps prevent scouring of mating materials. The alloy can also be manufactured to ASTM B 505 C93700, JIS H 5121 CAC603C, DIN 1716 CuPb10Sn W Nr 2.1176.04, BS1400 CuPb10Sn10 LB2, EN 1982-2008 CuSn10Pb10 CC495K and NF A 53-707 CuSn10Pb10 Y70.
